The Crisis in Chad.

Chad is one off the most dangerous country to be mother in. That nobody knows that!

In Chad die 1100 of 100.000 births that is a big crisis. In 2010 died 5300 women in Chad and in Norway  4. The women in Tsjad get extreme bad help to the birth, it is just 14% of all birth get help off midwife and doctor under the birth. That must be changed, Médecins Sans Frontières jobs for that more mothers get help under birth. It is a lot of mother dead in the news around the world but nothing about Chad. It is actually 15 women like die in Chad every day that can be different if more people know about it!

In Chad is it 220 midwife and 110 of them is in N’Djamena. That means it is hard to get help to birth, it is hard to come to a hospital to because it is no road and cars so they most go in the wood. So if it comes rain it be slimy and extreme hard to come to the hospital. It is around 180 births every month at Médecins Sans Frontières’s clinic. That is 25 % of expectancy birth in Am Timan district, so is it a lot of people don’t get the help and equipment they need. So because it is hard to come to the hospital many birth home and that is not good.

A big problem with birth home is really bad hygiene. It was imported free acutely birth help for all women in 2007, and now 5 years later it is a long step to that destination. It is over 80% of all women like die of pregnancy or birth complications all over the world that can be chanced! The birth is a very critically point when it apply to save women and the child’s life. Close all decease is happening correct before, under and correct after the birth, that is because unforeseen complication.

It is too bad that so many are losing the life in a miserable country just because the news doesn’t have about it! More charities most help it is close nobody like helping the miserable women. It most comes more resources to they like helping in Tsjad, that can authority helping with but the rich country to. Authorities most follow that the charities doing. It is important that more people in the world know about the women in Chad

BECAUSE FEWER DIE WHEN SEVERAL KNOW!

Here is that Médecins Sans Frontières do in Chad
They have been in Chad since 1981, they have taken most attention is mother health. They support a hospital in Am Timan eastern in Chad. Where they helped with 7300 antenatal consultations and 1795 births in 2011. They operate an own hospital in the southeast part of Chad, where they helped with 3500 pregnancies consultations and 188 births in 2011.
